MICHAEL CLOSES IN ON CHAMP CARS

Michael is today a step closer to finalising a deal to compete in the Champ Car World Series following a successful test for Dale Coyne Racing at Sebring. "Now I have a taste of what a Champ Car can do I really want to be racing in the series this year," said Keohane, "I have to thank Dale Coyne as he was good enough to let me test one of his cars in November last year and now I am very close to finalising a deal to do the 2004 season." "I am very excited about the season ahead, especially now that OWRS have the chance to revive Champ Car," added Keohane. "I want to be a part of that and hopefully we will be able to announce something soon."

For the last few seasons the Irishman has competed in the British Formula 3 Championship, finishing on the podium no fewer than 25 times. During the 2003 season Keohane also competed in selected International F3000 races.
