MIXED
FORTUNES FOR MICHAEL AT BRANDS
While Michael enjoyed his best ever combined qualifying
performance at Rounds 15 & 16 of the British F3
Championship at Brands Hatch, the races saw mixed fortunes
for the Irishman.
Starting
from the front row of the grid he finished second in
Race 1 which saw him move up to second position in the
championship standings.

Starting
an incident packed Race 2 from the same spot, he suffered
a broken front wing at the first corner after contact
with Fortec's Fabio Carbone. Running in third, the Ibstock
Brick backed Carlin driver was looking good for his
second podium of the day until lap 18 when France's
Bruce Jouanny tapped the rear of his car at Clearways
spinning the Clonakilty ace out of contention.
Michael
eventually finished 18th resulting in him dropping to
fourth in the standings while up front Robbie Kerr took
his second win of the day.
